The paper “Attention and Engagement-Awareness in the Wild: A Large-Scale Study with Adaptive Notifications" by Kota Tsubouchi of Yahoo! JAPAN Research and Keio University lecturer Tadashi Okoshi (coauthors: Masaya Taji,Takanori Ichikawa) was selected as a candidate for Best Paper (Mark Weiser Best Paper Award) at the top conference on ubiquitous computing, IEEE International Conference on Pervasive Computing and Communications (PerCom2017), held March 13-17, 2017. The paper was one of three selected out of the 28 papers accepted from 194 submissions. The research deals with the optimum timing for PUSH notifications adapted to the user’s context. Context-aware PUSH notifications can provide an exciting and comfortable user experience. We want to continue our research and development with a view to releasing it as quickly as possible. Our intention is to keep working to provide even better user experience in the future. Thank you for your support!
