Akira Tajima Head of LY Research
I am currently working on leveraging advanced technologies and utilizing large-scale data to provide a better experience for our users, as well as leading research activities as the Head of LY Research. Prior to joining Yahoo Japan Corporation in 2011, I led the Mathematical Science team at IBM Research - Tokyo. I also gained experience as a consultant at A.T. Kearney. I obtained my Ph.D. in Information Science from the University of Tokyo in 2000.
