Graduated from the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Tokyo in 2005 and completed a doctorate at the Graduate School of Frontier Sciences at the University of Tokyo in 2010. In the same year, he became a project researcher at the University of Tokyo. From 2012, he has been a senior researcher at Yahoo! JAPAN Research Labs. He is engaged in research and development of data analysis and machine learning focusing on human activity logs (location data, search logs, shopping history, sensor data, etc.).
